The Role You’ll Play to Create Success

We are excited to announce a full-time Business Analyst, Jr. position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by acting as a technical consultant for business problems and opportunities and may provide insight for possible technical solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

  1. Serves as the liaison between the customer community and the development teams through which requirements flow.
  2. Conducts interviews and leads requirements gathering sessions with business representatives to elicit and document business requirements for system development.
  3. Effectively communicate issues to business customers and elicit feedback for applications programmers and technology solution providers.
  4. Develop/maintain use cases and workflow scenarios.
  5. Identifies requirements for testing and helps develops test plans for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  6. Helps manage/test the User Acceptance Testing plan with the business entities.
  7. Applies use of tools to define requirements and documentation.
  8. Acts as Subject Matter Expert for assigned projects and processes.
  9. Works with the IT analyst to conduct production issue triaging and escalation as it relates to requirements/technical issues for the client/project.
  10. Collaborates with systems development and design personnel.
  11. Acts as liaison between systems software development staff, management, and system end-users to determine requirements and obtain sign-off.
  12. Provides training and technical support to system end-users.
  13. Follows up with internal stakeholders about completed tasks to ensure client satisfaction.

The Attributes We Seek

Keys to success in this position include having a combination of 1+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in an Insurance Business environment, have attained a BS/BA degree preferably in Business Administration or Information Systems. Excellent customer service skills, comprehensive written and communication skills, and detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of underwriting, commercial lines underwriting, business analysis methodology, risk management and industry related tools.
