We proudly push the envelope, each of us contributing to a positive culture of continuous improvement. As a Backend Software Developer, you will have strong technical expertise with software tools. You will strike a balance between maintaining, testing and debugging new and existing applications while providing mentorship to Jr. developers.
We are looking for highly motivated, results oriented individuals who have an entrepreneurial spirit to join our fast-growing team. Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional attention to details are a MUST.
In this role you will:- Develop, test, debug, and provide ongoing maintenance of new and existing software applications
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code while delivering major projects and subsystems
- Perform code reviews and provide technical mentorship to peers in a small team setting
- Contribute to testing frameworks while writing unit and integration tests
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Integrate data storage solutions
- Proactively suggest designs and assist teammates
- Communicate effectively through email, chat, meetings, and documentation.
- Actively participate in team meetings and online communications
- Work with business stakeholders to understand, document, and clarify technical requirements
You Have- 5+ years of direct professional development experience in the following areas:
- C#
- SQL
- RESTful APIs
- 2+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core
- 2+ years of experience with cloud deployed SAAS
- Solid understanding of software design and implementation patterns
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership in a small-team context
- Understanding of git source control patterns
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Business oriented and result driven individual with a desire to grow in a developing company
- Ability and willingness to take on projects outside of the regular scope of work
- Solid team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy
- Excellent time management skills
