Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

Citizenship: United States citizenship required

Job Description: 
ExoAnalytic Solutions is looking for an exceptionally talented Senior Accountant with an innate interest to join a technology and innovation leader in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.


Specific Job Duties Include:
  • Preparing and processing accounting documents, such as invoices, bills, and other documents with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Monitoring and reviewing revenues, expenditures, and job costing for accuracy.
  • Supporting the CFO and calculating Tax Credit Entries for yearly tax returns such as the R&D tax credit, State and Federal Tax Returns.
  • Preparing special financial reports and budgets by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial information.
  • Calculating monthly recurring journal entries, such as depreciation, amortization, and Right of Use Assets/Liabilities.
  • Completing month and end-year processes assigned by the Accounting Manager and/or CFO.
  • Reviewing and analyzing accounts payable/receivable entries to ensure accurate GL postings each month.
  • Creating Cash receipts to multiple bank accounts with high attention to detail.
  • Conducting general ledger reconciliations.
  • Entering, reconciling, and posting payroll to the general ledger.
  • Forecasting cash and reporting to the Accounting Manager and CFO as needed.
  • Analyzing revenue and expenditure variances and reporting to management as necessary.
  • Reconciling Stock Accounts to the GL and annual employee statements.
  • Contributing to a team environment by accomplishing related work streams as needed.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Performing the tasks above with little to minimal supervision
  • 5-10 years of experience performing a variety of duties and responsibilities in accounting or auditing
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint
  • Master’s Degree or CPA License
  • Understanding of government job cost accounting​​​​​​
Salary:  $85,000 - $120,000 depending upon degree and experience

Actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and years of experience.
