Fortress Building Products is looking for an entry-level Solidworks Operator.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Position will report to the Director of Innovations
  • Work with Innovations Team, Product Managers and Factories to confirm drawing details.
  • Create Solidworks detail drawings of parts and assemblies.
  • Maintain PDM data base to ensure that drawing changes and revisions are tracked and up to date.

Education/Experience/Additional Requirements

  • Proficient with SolidWorks software
  • Solidworks PDM experience is a plus
  • 0-2 years related work experience with Solidworks or working towards a certification in Solidworks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of drawing documentation standards
  • Applies knowledge effectively in team environment
  • Able to accept and integrate constructive feedback
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, detail oriented and communication skills.
  • Requires ability to be self-motivated and work independently as well as in teams.
