OVERVIEW

Exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of building products in the outdoor living segment.

The Inside Sales position will play a key role in building relationships with existing customers and introducing our products to new customers. The ideal candidate will have a background in the Lumber and Building Materials industry and sales experience (phone sales experience a big plus!).

Our office is a high energy casual work environment located in Garland, TX. Hours for the position are 8:00AM – 5:00PM Monday through Friday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintaining relationships with contacts through regular communication and follow-up
  • Follow-up with contacts to advance them through the sales process
  • Making a high volume of outbound calls to prospect for new customers and introduce our products
  • Coordinate with other team members
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s products
  • Meet or exceed required activity & performance standards
  • Logging all activity in Salesforce CRM

Education/Experience/Additional Requirements

  • Minimum high school degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in the construction or building industry
  • Proven track record in achieving sales quotas
  • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching next potential customer
  • Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate patience and enthusiasm while communicating with potential customers
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships in a team environment
  • CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
