Human Resources Generalist

 

Are you an HR professional looking for a way to have a positive impact in the Central Valley Business Community, while expanding your own HR expertise?   Sierra HR Partners, Inc. is accepting applications of interest for a self-motivated Team Player with a client satisfaction and service focused mindset . One who is able to partner with clients, from a broad range of business industries, to support major Human Resource functions and grow business. This blended position will provide professional level support in California Employment Law compliance, full cycle recruitment services, and training. Plus assist with Business Development to expand our reach.

 

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Advise on California Employment Laws and Regulations, including FEHA, Wage & Hour, Employee Handbooks, Leaves of Absence and Job Descriptions;
  • Work with Business Owners and Hiring Managers to develop and implement recruitment plans;
  • Conduct HR Audits and producing legally compliant reports;
  • Develop and present training programs with curriculum related to HR and leadership development;  
  • Manage other HR specific projects, including position classification, compensation analysis,  and salary research.
  • Provide Marketing and Business Development services.

Qualifications: 
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in California Employment law/HR capacity;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field;
  • PHR, PHR-CA Certifications preferred
  • Valid CA Driver’s License
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
