Title: Loss Management Specialist
Location: Radnor, PA or Winston Salem, NC     
The position of Loss Management Specialist works under moderate supervision that will assist the Director and/or Vice President of Loss Management in various areas of Loss Management. This employee will have general knowledge of the mortgage insurance industry, and be able execute his/her duties in accordance with the Master Policy requirements.
As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:

Default Reporting &ndash; Ensure that new defaults and monthly updates are received from Insureds/Servicers as required by the Master Policy and processed accurately and timely. Follow up with Insureds/Servicers as needed. 
Claims Processing &ndash; Ensure that claims are reviewed upon receipt; documentation and information is requested timely; claims are processed and paid timely according to the terms of the Master Policy and Loss Management policies and procedures. Assist with preparation of Claims Committee Meeting documentation and agenda. 
Real Estate Owned Management (REO) &ndash; assist with assigning properties to an approved vendor, obtaining insurance, recording deeds, the marketing of properties and the coordination of the sale/closing with the Legal and Finance teams.
Assist with ordering Broker Price Opinion (BPO), review appraisals, fraud Investigations and timely payment of invoices for same.   
Timely and courteous responses to Insured/Servicer/GSE/Internal inquires.
Assist with IT for enhancements to PASSPORT and Loss Management online.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience. 
Minimum of five (5) years in the Mortgage Servicing Industry or three (3) years in the Mortgage Insurance Industry.
Superior customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Demonstrated analytical and creative problem solving skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact with staff of all levels with the organization.

The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for executing internal audit activities, including planning, fieldwork, and issues management. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Title: REO Portfolio Manager

The REO Portfolio Manager is a motivated and experienced professional responsible for the end-to-end management of Essent&rsquo;s Real Estate Owned (REO) portfolio in alignment with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.  This includes analyzing and communicating the benefits and risks, accountability for the process of acquiring properties from investors, managing the portfolio to maximize returns, and selling properties to retail buyers or institutional buyers, including iBuyers. REO Portfolio Management and Strategy

      Oversee the daily operations and strategic management of Essent&rsquo;s REO portfolio to ensure alignment with our investment goals.
Manage the process of buying REO properties from investors and selling them through various channels, including retail and iBuyers.
Manage relationships, negotiations, contracting and SLAs with third party vendors and ensuring timely closings.
Order and review property valuations and reconcile the value by analyzing and comparing data from multiple valuation sources to arrive at the most accurate and defensible value.
Assess inspections of REO properties to assess their condition and identify necessary repairs.
Develop plans, leveraging third parties where applicable, to implement and manage REO repairs meeting quality standards and timelines.
Design and execute efficient, scalable, and technology-driven processes to optimize REO handling.
Develop and maintain productive relationships with industry constituents including iBuyers, real estate networks, valuation authorities, Essent Title, and REO service providers, as needed.

Economic Analysis and Reporting

      Establish and monitor KPIs and KRIs to measure effectiveness and risk exposure of our REO program.
Develop and manage the REO dashboard within Power BI for pipeline management and performance, executive reporting, and organizational communication.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and due diligence on properties within Investor auction cycles to identify and assess feasibility of purchase opportunities.
Prepare detailed reporting and analysis on REO properties including conditions, repairs, valuations and forecasted outcome.
      Monitor market trends and provide insights to inform property valuation and marketing strategies. 

 Compliance and Governance

Proactively identify and mitigate potential process and loss risks.
Partner with Risk, Legal, and Finance teams to assess property values, mitigate risks and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

&middot;     Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business or a related field.
5+ years of experience in real estate, mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing REO properties.

The Title Examination Specialist is an individual contributor role which will search, analyze, and evaluate records on title for land, home, and other buildings for non-complex and applicable transactions. This role will be responsible for examining applicable title records, identifying potential issues, and ensuring all requirements are met to facilitate smooth and timely closing.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

      High School Diploma, GED, Associate&rsquo;s degree, or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

The Title Clearance Specialist is responsible for clearing title commitments in accordance with state requirements and client instructions. Analyzes daily reports and data/process information in the system to ensure assigned files are reviewed, cleared, and the client is updated in a timely manner consistent with company established standards for service and quality.

Utilize customer service skills in all communications with the client. Address inquiries from clients, borrowers, agents, and internal staff professionally and in a timely manner.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Associate&rsquo;s degree preferred in related field or equivalent work experience required.
1+ years of industry experience.

Title: Director, Accounting, P&C Insurance

This position is responsible for leading key activities of the accounting department, with a primary focus on Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and reinsurance. The Director, Accounting, will ensure the integrity of the Company&rsquo;s financial accounting, practices, and reporting structure. This role will supervise staff accountants and assist with annual audits, internal management reporting, and the preparation and filing of SEC and statutory reports.

Accounting Research and Documentation 

Perform technical accounting research on complex P&C insurance transactions and new accounting pronouncements, preparing memorandums to document conclusions.
Lead the review of P&C loss reserves, including the analysis of actuarial reports and the reasonableness of key assumptions and methodologies.
Analyze and report on earnings patterns and key performance indicators specific to the P&C business lines.

Accounting Operations & Monthly Close

Review and support the monthly and quarterly P&C accounting and manage the consolidation of these results for the preparation of GAAP and statutory financial reports and supporting analyses.
Collaborate with Essent Re&rsquo;s Director, Finance to provide supervision, guidance, and development to staff accountants.
Identify and implement continuous improvements in the accounting close process through technology and process enhancements.

 Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

 Title: Title Examination Specialist
 
 Location: Remote anywhere in US
 
The Title Examination Specialist is an individual contributor role which will search, analyze, and evaluate records on title for land, home, and other buildings for non-complex and applicable transactions. This role will be responsible for examining applicable title records, identifying potential issues, and ensuring all requirements are met to facilitate smooth and timely closing.
As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:

           Review and examine titles searches of public records and examine titles to determine insurability condition of property title.
           Perform search of county records to obtain and examine copies of, including but not limited to, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, and plat & map books to determine ownership and legal restrictions.
           Ensure property titles are clear and compliant with applicable requirements.
           Prepare title commitments, title reports, and related documentation for applicable transactions.
           Monitor emails and reply to title inquiries regarding title-related matters, search inquiries, invoices, and turnaround time for commitments. 
           Maintain accurate records and update title information in company systems.
           Collaborate with title officers, underwriters, and closing agents to determine requirements and resolve title issues.
           Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations.
           Process high volume transactions in a multi-state environment.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

      High School Diploma, GED, Associate&rsquo;s degree, or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
      2+ years of title examination experience.
      Strong knowledge of default title search procedures, legal descriptions and public records.
      Understanding of refinancing processes and documentation requirements.
      Ability to follow all company procedures and policies including meeting the company customer service expectations.

Title: Accounting Manager

This is a management position that leads the preparation and review of ledger entries and reconciliations, supporting leadership decision-making in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and accounting practices.

The Closing Specialist will coordinate all phases of loan closing. This role will prepare loan closing packages, communicate with all parties involved in the transaction, and ensure that all paperwork is complete, accurate, and in compliance with legal regulations.

Deliver closing package to assigned notary/signing agent.

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the closing process. Communicate effectively to address inquiries and provide updates as applicable and requested. 
Review signed closing package and deliver to all applicable parties required to review and provide approval for funding and disbursement. 

Work closely with the Post Close for any items needed to record documents.


Responsible for accurate disbursement.
Review closing statement to ensure file is balanced.

Identify how all line items will be disbursed. (i.e., Check, wire)
Ensure all invoices are received and available for disbursement.
Confirm all payees and addresses are accurate.
Work closely with funding team.


Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations while maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of changing real estate laws and regulations.
Identify and resolve any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the closing process.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

RamQuest Closing operations system knowledge preferred.

Title: Director, Title Compliance
 
Location: Fully in-office in Radnor, PA
The Director of Title Compliance (&ldquo;DTC&rdquo;) is a director-level position with broad responsibility for the day-to-day management of the compliance function relating to Essent&rsquo;s title insurance businesses, supporting the design and execution of strategic and tactical programs while reducing and/or managing the risk of violating laws and regulations. Managing these risks is a critical issue for Essent since non-compliance can have significant consequences, including civil and criminal penalties, negative publicity, and loss of business. 
The DTC reports to Essent&rsquo;s Chief Compliance Officer and provides oversight of compliance functions for Essent&rsquo;s lender and agency services, including all its regulated entities in the title agency and title insurance underwriting businesses. The DTC has access to the President of Essent Title. 
The DTC will have the responsibility to articulate business-line-wide compliance risks, the statute with which to communicate it, and the means with which to monitor and implement compliance programs. The DTC is responsible for identifying trends, implementing effective compliance programs, and providing the necessary information and reports to operational and executive management. The DTC provides direction and guidance on development of internal control systems to meet business needs and fosters an environment for the identification and implementation of appropriate compliance, control practices, compliance testing, monitoring, and reporting. 
This position plays a critical role in managing risk, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company's growth and profitability while maintaining risk centric policies and procedures.

Apply knowledge of applicable U.S. regulations and best control practices, business acumen, and risk management practices to develop appropriate policies, procedures and control environment designed to ensure that compliance activities across Essent continue to meet all regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure the development and delivery of compliance training programs for Essent&rsquo;s title insurance businesses designed to maintain the competency of management, staff, and agents on the company&rsquo;s compliance program.

Monitor business and organizational developments to anticipate compliance issues and ensure optimal integration of compliance considerations and controls in business planning processes. Assist QA Management with special projects which may include but is not limited to No Findings, Pend file, Full file, Second and Decline reviews. 
Participate in system UAT testing as needed. Participate in Overtime when needed to support the QA team and ensure compliance with PMIER&rsquo;s requirements.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Experience with RamQuest closing operations system and all integration systems is preferred.
