Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements

Duties/Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and serve nutritious, quality means as directed by the Steward according to the established time schedule.
Maintain balance inventories of groceries and supplies by properly storing and rotating groceries and supplies.
Maintain accurate meal and bunk rosters.
Supervise all on duty staff to ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards are being followed at all times while performing duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Make sure sleeping crew is awakened on time for duty.
Demonstrate your skills and duties to utility personnel in order to train them for promotions.
Be responsible for ensuring the safety of your employees and the job site by doing the following:

Ensure all employees are properly trained in their jobs and safety.
Ensure all employees are following all proper safety and job procedures.
Ensure all employees are wearing proper clothing and safety equipment where needed.
Ensure all safety hazards and unsafe job practices are corrected.
Ensure all employees know proper evacuation and emergency procedures.
Conduct safety meeting for night crew for updating and reviewing safety matters and maintain availability of safety equipment as well as ensure its use.
Discuss safety issues with individual employees and answer any appropriate questions they may have.
Fill in Safety Checklists, Safety Meeting Reports, Illness & Accidents, and other reports as requested by the steward.
Conduct safety inspections and maintain safety records.
Initiate a proper and friendly approach on maintaining safe attitudes of employees.
Be a prime example of using proper and safe working procedures.
Maintain good relations with your employees, so that you are aware of any temporary problems or conditions that might make your employees a safety risk.
Know how to operate all of your area emergency equipment including fire protection equipment.
Report all accidents and near misses.


Participate in JSA&rsquo;s and all other Safety, Health and Environmental Processes.

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on:

Humvees
Military and commercial trailers
Skid steers
Heavy equipment and diesel vehicles


Conduct inspections and troubleshoot equipment failures
Replace and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and hydraulic systems
Maintain service records and repair documentation
Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs in a timely manner

Qualifications

Previous experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic preferred
Experience working on military vehicles is a plus
Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics
Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
Must have reliable transportation and basic mechanic tools
Ability to lift heavy parts and work in outdoor/shop environments

Position Overview
The Field Operations Associate (FOA) plays a key role in the safe and efficient installation and removal of composite matting systems across Select Mat Services projects. This entry-level position is ideal for team members who are dependable, adaptable, and ready to contribute to high-performing field crews in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Support the installation and removal of composite mats, securing all connections with locking pins to ensure stability under heavy load.
Assist with material handling, including moving tools and supplies across active job sites.
Guide truck drivers and assist the Crew Lead with the coordination of daily site operations.
Maintain a clean and organized job site, including proper disposal of trash and debris.
Help equipment operators maintain workflow efficiency and reduce downtime.


Job Expectations

Regular travel is required (50%&ndash;75%), with all travel time compensated at hourly rates.
Transportation provided via company vehicles from the yard to job locations, including occasional out-of-state projects.
Company-paid lodging and a $50/day per diem provided for overnight travel.

Requirements

Reliable transportation and a valid driver&rsquo;s license.

Position Overview
The Field Operations Associate (FOA) plays a key role in the safe and efficient installation and removal of composite matting systems across Select Mat Services projects. This entry-level position is ideal for team members who are dependable, adaptable, and ready to contribute to high-performing field crews in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Support the installation and removal of composite mats, securing all connections with locking pins to ensure stability under heavy load.
Assist with material handling, including moving tools and supplies across active job sites.
Guide truck drivers and assist the Crew Lead with the coordination of daily site operations.
Maintain a clean and organized job site, including proper disposal of trash and debris.
Help equipment operators maintain workflow efficiency and reduce downtime.


Job Expectations

Regular travel is required (50%&ndash;75%), with all travel time compensated at hourly rates.
Transportation provided via company vehicles from the yard to job locations, including occasional out-of-state projects.
Company-paid lodging and a $50/day per diem provided for overnight travel.
Opportunities to earn overtime, learn specialized field equipment, and grow into leadership or system-focused roles.
Spot bonuses may be awarded for exceptional effort and teamwork.


Requirements

Reliable transportation and a valid driver&rsquo;s license.
Ability to lift and pull 50+ lbs. and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods.
Willingness to travel frequently and work out of town.
Willingness to work weekends as required.
Able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions (hot and cold).
Class A CDL is highly preferred but not required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Scope of Work:


Responsible for boxing up orders and getting them ready for shipping. This involves accurately inputting customer shipping information, and then using a commercial label printing machine to print the shipping labels.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Efficiently pull customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
Arrange all pallets to ensure safe delivery of products to customers and inspect all pallets for accurate stickers and addresses
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Cleaning and preparing a job site
Transport merchandise between receiving stations, warehouse and production areas.
Record the material amount or count received and circulated.
Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner..
Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards.
Operate manual material handling equipment such as hand jacks and wheeled carts safely.
Lift and carry merchandises/material as needed.
Inspect merchandise upon delivery to identify any damages.
Load and unload merchandise to and from trailers.
Mange house keeping activities when requested.

Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized.
Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities.


Perform tasks maintaining all health, safety and environmental rules and ensure all work is done in a manner which enhances the safety of the work environmentImplement health and safety standards when carrying out job operations to ensure public and environmental safety


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks.
Ability to work in varying hot and cold environments

Pay:

$10.00 - $11.50
