Position Overview: Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Senior Project Manager is ultimately responsible for successfully managing multiple high-value projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while fostering strong client and subcontractor relationships.  


 




This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, who can effectively manage teams, mitigate risks, and drive operational excellence. 


 Key Responsibilities 




Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and best practices for successful project execution. 






Manage a minimum of 5 concurrent projects in stages from preconstruction to close &ndash; out. 






Successfully understand and review blueprint and design reviews, proactively identifying discrepancies and leading resolution efforts through RFI submissions.  






Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost control while maximizing efficiency and profitability. 






Establish and maintain clear and concise communication with clients and staff. Fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. 






Evaluate vendor and subcontractor agreements, negotiate terms, and mitigate project risks to safeguard project outcomes. 






Manage the project ensuring that all subcontractor scopes of work documents adhere all contractual obligations.  






Establish KPIs and provide executive-level reporting on project health. Outlining and undertaking creative next steps. 






Effectively plan, oversee, and manage all aspects of the project(s) while ensuring strong time management. 






Manage the triple constraints (schedule, quality, budget) of the project to meet or exceed the clients&rsquo; contractual obligation. 






Develop and maintain work budget and project schedule for periodic reviews of the triple constraints. 






Provide support to the project management team, fostering a culture of continuous growth and excellence.  




Qualifications 


Required 




7+ years of experience in ground-up construction  






Demonstrated success in managing high-value, complex projects while meeting aggressive goals, budgets, and deadlines. 






In-depth understanding of commercial construction methodologies, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance for large-scale commercial projects. 






Proactively identify opportunities to enhance project execution for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. 








Strong attention to detail with the ability to escalate, address, and resolve issues efficiently to maintain project momentum. 






Ability to oversee high-level project progress, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and drive successful project completion. 






Excellent verbal and written communication skills and resolves conflict effectively. 






Strong ability to manage multiple large-scale projects 






Strong ability to effectively lead and manage staff 






Maintain a risk registry for the length of the project

      <description><![CDATA[The Steel Erector Foreman leads Constructable&rsquo;s structural steel erection crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for safe execution, productivity, quality, and crew leadership. The Foreman ensures all steel erection activities comply with company standards, project requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
Core Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate steel erection crews on-site
Read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
Plan daily work activities, erection sequencing, and crew assignments
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
Enforce OSHA, site-specific, and Constructable safety requirements
Verify crew compliance with required PPE, fall protection, tie-off, and tool use
Ensure pre-task planning, lift planning, and daily safety briefings are conducted
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, crane operators, and other trades
Monitor productivity, manpower, material flow, and equipment utilization
Inspect work in progress for alignment, bolt-up, and installation quality
Identify and correct unsafe conditions or improper work practices immediately
Train, mentor, and develop crew members and lead hands
Maintain accurate daily reports for labor, progress, safety, and issues
Report incidents, near misses, delays, and material constraints promptly


Key Results / Performance Indicators

Safety Performance: Zero recordable incidents and 100% compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
Schedule Adherence: &ge;95% of planned erection activities completed on or ahead of schedule
Labor Productivity: Actual erection man-hours within &plusmn;5% of planned or budgeted hours
Quality & Rework Control: &ge;98% first-pass inspection acceptance with rework &le;2%
Crew Performance & Reliability: &ge;98% crew attendance and punctuality; &le;15% annual turnover

Optional Top Performer Indicators

Zero Lost-Time Incidents (LTI) for 12 consecutive months
5%+ improvement in man-hour efficiency over baseline
Successful development of at least one lead hand ready for foreman role


Required Competencies

Structural Steel Erection Expertise: Proven ability to safely and efficiently execute structural steel erection, including sequencing, bolt-up, alignment, and crane coordination
Field Planning & Productivity Management: Strong capability to plan daily work, allocate manpower and equipment, and deliver work within schedule and labor targets
Safety Leadership & Compliance: Demonstrated commitment to OSHA and site safety requirements; enforces PPE, fall protection, and safe work practices
Quality & Constructability Control: Ensures work meets drawings, specifications, and tolerances; identifies constructability issues early
Crew Leadership & Communication: Effectively leads and develops crews; communicates clearly with project managers, superintendents, and other trades
