In this role, you'll build strong, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and clients&mdash;helping ensure that individuals receive the incontinence products and personal care items they need, discreetly and conveniently delivered to their homes. Position Summary
The Sales Representative drives growth of ActivStyle's premium product lines through a hybrid inside/outside sales model. This role combines remote/office-based outreach with in-person visits to Assisted Living facilities and Group Homes to build strong, consultative relationships with administrators, clinicians, caretakers, and patients. You'll promote Medicaid-reimbursed products, identify new business opportunities, support existing accounts, and deliver product education and technical support. Success requires exceptional communication skills, a proactive sales approach, and the ability to manage both virtual and field-based interactions. This position plays a key role in expanding ActivStyle's presence in the home medical supplies market while ensuring customers receive high-quality service and product expertise.


Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with Assisted Living and Group Home administrators, clinicians, and caretakers to promote ActivStyle's products and services
Conduct outbound calls, virtual meetings, and in-person visits to present and promote Medicaid-reimbursed products for patients in group home settings and skilled facility areas
Identify new business opportunities and manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction
Provide product demonstrations, training, and technical support to clinicians, caretakers, and patients
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in CRM systems
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory requirements
Maintain patient confidentiality and function within HIPAA guidelines
Conduct daily sales calls to establish new and maintain ongoing business with referral sources in the medical community
Work with Sales Leadership to validate and develop territory call plans to grow business
Build long-term, trusting relationships with referral sources
Promote products and services to all healthcare professionals encountered daily
Educate referral sources on the use of products and services provided by ActivStyle
Collaborate with intake, customer service, and document collection teams to process orders and drive sales growth
Communicate and explain Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance procedures, pricing information, and product details to referral sources
Generate a steady stream of referrals and sell all offered services to meet sales quotas for this position and territory
Create, execute, and manage a territory call plan; share plan weekly with leadership
Document call plans and results when and where available
Increase referral volume from assigned accounts through promotion within business lines and cross-selling opportunities
Understand and maintain focus on the most profitable business lines
Work with the Intake team to obtain complete referral information and medical documentation for timely processing
Accept referrals based on current knowledge and understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursement guidelines
Suggest alternative equipment as warranted based on reimbursement limitations
Act as a resource to external customers to facilitate resolution of ActivStyle patient issues in coordination with operational teams
Evaluate the interrelationship of referral source, medical team, and reimbursement concerns; make fact-based, balanced decisions
Participate in obtaining MD orders and signatures for appropriate documentation and original prescriptions when on-site
Work closely with leadership and sales teams to identify trends and capture feedback from community referral sources
Conduct sales and service rounds in assigned facilities promoting availability for order processing, setup, and patient equipment education
Assist in obtaining referral source profile information
Identify programs or initiatives that could increase company revenues, decrease costs, and/or increase referral source and patient satisfaction
Maintain knowledge of and consistently adhere to procedures for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), infection control, and hazardous materials handling
Share information and expertise with peers to enable effectiveness
Participate in team meetings as requested
Complete assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required
Perform other related duties as assigned



Required Qualifications

2+ years of sales experience, preferably in home medical equipment or supply sales
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel locally/regionally for client meetings and events
Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Mental alertness and ability to properly treat confidential information
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office



Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related field
3+ years of HME, Infusion, Diabetes, Wound Care, or Incontinence experience
Prior work experience in the HME, Diabetic, or Wound Supply industry



Physical Demands and Work Environment

Combination of office-based/remote work and field visits
Flexibility to attend trade shows, conferences, and client events
Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods

Position Summary:
The Senior Sales Representative plays a critical role in expanding ActivStyle&rsquo;s footprint within the home medical supplies and DME market, with a primary focus on insurance reimbursed incontinence products, alongside wound care, ostomy, urology, and skin care solutions. This position blends strategic account management, new business development, and sales leadership with hands-on field engagement.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

Position Summary:
Customer Service Specialists are responsible for learning and understanding the entire front-end process to ensure successful service for our patients. The Customer Service Specialists works in a fast-paced environment answering inbound calls and making outbound calls. Maybe responsible for obtaining, analyze, and verify the accuracy of information received from referrals, create orders, and or schedule the patient to receive equipment as ordered by their doctor. Customer Service Specialists should educate Patients of their financial responsibility when applicable.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company
Answer all calls and emails in a timely manner, in adherence to their goals
Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
Answer questions about products and services, retail stores, general service line information and other information as necessary based on customer call needs
Process orders, route calls to appropriate resource and follow up on customer calls where necessary
Review all required documentation to ensure accuracy
Accurately process, verify, and/or submit documentation and orders
Complete insurance verification to determine patient&rsquo;s eligibility, coverage, co-insurances, and deductibles
Obtain pre-authorization if required by an insurance carrier and process physician orders to insurance carriers for approval and authorization when required
Must be able to navigate through multiple online EMR systems to obtain applicable documentation
Enter and review all pertinent information in EMR system including authorizations and expiration dates
Communicate with Customer Service and Management on an on-going basis regarding any noticed trends with insurance companies
Verify insurance carriers are listed in the company&rsquo;s database system, if not request the new carrier is entered
Responsible for contacting patient when documentation received does not meet payer guidelines to provide updates and offer additional options to facilitate the referral process.
Meet quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics
Facilitate resolution on customer complaints and problem solving
Pays attention to detail and has great organizational skills
Actively listens to patients and handle stressful situations with compassion and empathy
Flexible with the actual work and the hours of operation
Utilize company provided tools to maintain quality. Some tools may include but are not limited to Authorization Guidelines, Insurance Guidelines, Fee Schedules, NPI (National Provider Identifier), PECOS (the Medicare Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System) and &ldquo;How-To&rdquo; documents
Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company.
Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required.
Maintains compliant with ActivStyle&rsquo;s Compliance Program.
Assist operations with on-call responsibilities as needed during non-business hours in accordance with company policy.
Depending on the geographic territory and size of the branch location, may require assisting operations with deliveries.
Retain knowledge of and consistently adhere to procedures for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), infection control and hazardous materials handling.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:



High School Diploma or equivalent required & One (1) year work related experience in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management regardless of industry.

Associate's degree in a field of study related to patient healthcare.

 

Senior level requires two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience.
Exact job experience is considered any of the above tasks in a Medicare certified HME, Diabetic, Pharmacy, or home medical supplies environment that routinely bills insurance.

Position Summary
The Customer Experience & Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting operational continuity, vendor performance, and regulatory-aligned customer service within a healthcare/DME environment. This position serves as a direct liaison between internal business operations and external vendor partners, including distributors and manufacturers, ensuring accurate product flow, compliant procurement practices, and a high standard of customer experience.
This role requires disciplined coordination of vendor relationships, inventory system management support, and escalation management while maintaining strong awareness of healthcare compliance requirements, documentation accuracy, and audit readiness. The coordinator helps safeguard service delivery by proactively addressing supply chain risks, vendor performance gaps, and customer issues in a manner consistent with organizational policies and industry regulations.


Key Responsibilities
Vendor & Operations Coordination

Serve as a primary operational liaison between internal teams and external vendors, distributors, and manufacturers
Monitor daily vendor performance and service levels to ensure expectations are met
Participate in vendor calls and performance reviews; document and track corrective actions
Escalate service disruptions or compliance concerns through appropriate channels
Reroute customer orders to alternate suppliers when necessary to protect continuity of care
Maintain accurate documentation of vendor communications and issue resolution

Inventory, Pricing & Procurement Support

Maintain inventory pricing files and vendor product data with high accuracy
Support demand forecasting and vendor supply planning activities
Assist in managing procurement challenges while ensuring adherence to approved vendor practices
Coordinate with operations teams to minimize product shortages and backorders
Support audit-ready documentation related to purchasing and vendor transactions

Customer Experience & Escalation Resolution

Investigate logistics-related customer escalations and drive timely resolution
Act as a customer advocate while balancing regulatory and operational requirements
Ensure communication is clear, documented, and compliant
Identify recurring service risks and recommend process improvements

Sales Tracking & Operational Reporting

Maintain vendor sales tracing files and supporting operational records
Assist with performance reporting tied to vendor service levels and fulfillment metrics
Support data integrity for operational and compliance reporting

Administrative & Mail Operations

Handle inbound/outbound organizational mail and controlled shipments
Coordinate sample shipments and vendor-related deliveries
Support logistics documentation and chain-of-custody awareness where applicable



Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities

Adhere to all company policies related to healthcare operations and vendor engagement
Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of PHI and sensitive information

Qualifications
