Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic growth of the architecture and interiors practice, including market positioning, client development, and revenue growth
Maintain and expand senior-level relationships with public and private sector clients
Drive pursuit strategy in collaboration with studio leaders, business development, and executive leadership
Represent the firm externally through client meetings, industry events, and professional organizations
Corporate real estate, including commercial office, hospitality, and government-funded housing
Cultural facilities, including landmarks, arenas, convention centers, libraries, museums, and cultural centers, Institutional projects, including healthcare, government and civic buildings, and public safety facilities
Oversee day to day operations of the architectural and interiors studio
Provide leadership on project delivery, staffing plans, workload forecasting, and resource management
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations
Collaborate with finance leadership to monitor project financial performance, fee management, and profitability
Provide senior level oversight of project management practices across the studio
Lead quality assurance and quality control efforts, including review and analysis of deliverables
Establish and enforce document standards and best practices
Support teams in managing complex consultant coordination and multi firm design teams
Lead, mentor, and develop studio leaders, project managers, and technical staff
Oversee hiring, performance management, and professional development for the studio
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high performing studio culture
Coordinate effectively with outside design firms and specialty consultants
Leverage Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business software tools for reporting, coordination, and management
Maintain working knowledge of Autodesk tools, including Revit, BIM 360, and related platforms
Support continuous improvement in design technology and workflow efficiency

Requirements:

Registered Architect in good standing
Minimum of 20 years of professional architectural experience
Demonstrated success leading and growing an architectural and interiors practice
Strong professional network, ideally in the Washington DC market
Extensive experience across corporate, cultural, and institutional project types
Proven financial acumen, including budget management and schedule control
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Experience working within public sector and government procurement environments (preferred)
Track record of successful client relationship management and repeat work
Recognized leader within the architectural or design community

Compensation:
Salary range: $175,000 - $210,000/yearly (dependent on years of experience, competency, travel requirements)

Reviews the onsite construction crew&rsquo;s daily progress reports and field work orders and ensures that they are complete and accurate prior to payment approval.

Qualifications:

Technical associate's degree (Engineering, Environmental, Architecture, Computer Science or Construction Management) w/minimum 3 years&rsquo; related work experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years related work experience

McKissack & McKissack supports multiple education organizations as an owner&rsquo;s representative on design and construction programs. This position would be supporting the US Virgin Islands Department of Education as the owner&rsquo;s representative across a $3.5B FEMA funded program, expected to replace or modernize approximately 15 school facilities across the three US Virgin Islands: St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John, over the next ten years. As needed, this position may support other K-12 clients as well.  


The Senior Project Manager will serve as the project lead for one or multiple projects ranging from $50M to over $300M each. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading the owner&rsquo;s representative/project management team in the planning, coordination, and execution of the design and construction of new and/or renovated school projects. This role requires a candidate with strong communication skills, technical expertise, and proven experience working closely with clients, project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 


Key Responsibilities: 



Provide supervision of a project or multiple projects to achieve owner&rsquo;s vision 




Responsible for the development of the program/project plan to orchestrate projects, resources, timescales, monitoring and controls.  




Responsible for working with Owners in understanding the overarching structure, processes and procedures to accomplish objectives  




Responsible for developing metrics of success and deliverables &ndash; alignment entails top-down vision, goals, and objectives from business strategy flowing through to successful completion of projects for program objectives  




Responsible for optimization of performance across program platforms to achieve the best functional and technical value 




Management of all program or project financial elements to include budgets, estimates, change management, and overall cost control 




Maintain data quality in all aspects of the program / project.   




Maximize the efficiency and proper use of all project software  




Perform all controlled distribution of printed and electronic information including drawings, specifications, and addenda etc. for the project  




Develop and run daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly processes and reports as required  




Provide assistance to McKissack management as requested and needed  




Daily interaction with McKissack staff at all levels  




Responsible for the confidentially and non-disclosure of McKissack information 




Provide superior internal and external customer service  




Responsible for assisting with business development initiatives, proposal development which may include assisting with plans, specifications, and financial terms.  





Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor 




Develop strong working relationships with client points of contact, government agencies, contractors and consultants.  




Lead the owner&rsquo;s representative project management team, including subconsultants, to achieve overall project goals. 




Leads all pre-construction coordination including conducting design reviews, evaluating value engineering options, navigating permitting processes, facilitating community engagement meetings, etc. 




Review and develop project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates. 




Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations. 




Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel&rsquo;s performance) and report regularly on project status. 




Prepare and submit project reports and documentation, including monthly reports, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. 




Collaborate with team members and work pro-actively to resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during design or construction. 




Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with owners&rsquo; policies, procedures, and industry standards. 




Interact daily with the client to interpret their needs and requirements and consistently represent the Owner&rsquo;s interest in meetings and in the field. 



Qualifications: 




Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in construction management, or a related field. 






Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role/experience. 






Strong knowledge of design and construction process, methods, materials, and regulations. 






Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. 






Proficiency in project management software and tools. 






Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and multi-faceted team environment. 






Professional Engineer (PE) license or other relevant certifications is a plus. 








Experience with projects using federal funding is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Audit contractor payment applications for accuracy, contract compliance, and satisfactory completion of work.

Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to support seamless project delivery.

Strong written/verbal communication, attention to detail, client focus, and organizational/timemanagement skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fastpaced environments.

Requirements:

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Project Management, Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field.
10 years of relevant aviation construction project management experience.
Strong knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, engineering principles, and basic accounting.
Understanding of Design/Bid/Build, Design/Assist, and Design/Build delivery methods.
Ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams of 10+ staff.
Business development capability with regional market awareness and proven closing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and P6 scheduling; strong written and verbal communication skills.
CCM or related certifications preferred.

Compensation:

Responsibilities:

Lead all on-site construction activities for data     center projects from sitework through commissioning and turnover.

Strong background in mission critical/data center, industrial, tilt-wall, metal panel, or large commercial projects.
Experience leading projects $50M&ndash;$250M+ preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage fast-track schedules and complex MEP-heavy scopes.
Experience with raised floor construction.
Experience in delivering electrical power requirements to data centers
Willingness to travel full-time (travel package     provided).
Strong communicator with a collaborative leadership style.

Compensation:
Salary range: $150,000 - $190,000/yearly (dependent on years of experience, competency, travel requirements)

Responsibilities:

Support the Project Manager in day-to-day oversight of assigned terminal, airfield, and landside projects under the PM/CM IDIQ agreement.
Assist in managing project scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, risks, and performance metrics.
Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, executive briefings, and dashboard updates using Unifier, Procore, or P6.
Coordinate project meetings, Page Turns, design reviews, OAC meetings, and working sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
Review design submittals, plans, specifications, and technical packages for completeness, accuracy, constructability, and compliance with DFW, FAA, TSA, ADA, and code requirements.
Lead Bluebeam-based Page Turn sessions to identify design discrepancies, track comments, and ensure alignment between designers, contractors, and airport end users.
Support sustainability and LEED-related reviews, including materials verification, energy-efficient design considerations, and documentation.
Conduct site walks, safety observations, and progress inspections to verify installation quality, compliance, and adherence to contract documents.
Monitor construction sequencing, phasing, airport operational impacts, and stakeholder coordination needs.
Support resolution of field conflicts through RFIs, design clarifications, and coordination between the design-builder, SMEs, inspectors, and EORs.
Assist in managing contractual obligations, scope development, procurement activities, and change management workflows.
Review and validate pay applications, schedules of values (SOVs), change order requests, cost estimates, and contractor proposals.
Track budget performance, funding allocations, and financial reporting in accordance with DFW and MAP team standards.
Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, design packages, progress photos, meeting minutes, logs, and closeout records.
Use Unifier, Procore, Bluebeam, and P6 to maintain accurate, real-time project data.
Develop and maintain executive-level reports, summaries, and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
Coordinate with DFW Airport divisions, regulatory agencies, consultants, and contractors to support permitting, approvals, and operational planning.
Serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders to support design development, sequencing reviews, passenger experience considerations, and operational continuity.
Support conflict resolution by ensuring timely communication, follow-up, and documentation of issues and resolutions.
Perform routine safety checks and ensure compliance with OSHA, DFW, and MAP team requirements.
Support quality assurance activities including field verification, materials confirmation, and inspection coordination.
Monitor compliance with design standards, airport guidelines, and contract documents.

 
Requirements:

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
3+ years of experience supporting capital construction or aviation/transportation projects.
Experience with design-build and/or design-bid-build delivery.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, Procore, Unifier, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
PMP or CMIT certification (or actively pursuing; preferred).
Experience working within an airport, transportation authority, or large public-sector owner environment.
Knowledge of FAA, TSA, ADA, building codes, and airport-specific regulatory requirements.
OSHA 10/30-hour training or related safety credentials (preferred).
Experience with LEED, sustainability practices, and energy-efficient design principles
