OVERVIEW

The Inventory Control Associate will be responsible for accurately performing cycle counts, assisting in inventory investigations, and repacking to make product sellable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly Cycle Counts.
  • Identify and process items that need to be inspected, repackaged, or labeled.
  • Report and/or assist with investigation of inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist in the performance of audits and physical inventories.
  • Operating a variety of equipment, which includes forklifts.
  • Maintain a clean safe work area.
  • This is a standalone classification in the warehouse function.

Education/Experience/Additional Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience with inventory control processes is preferred
  • High school graduate or equivalent education and experience
  • Forklift certification will be required. Assistance in obtaining certification can be provided, if necessary.
  • Following directions under limited supervision.
  • Performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Lifting and loading materials.
  • Complying with safety and operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Basic PC skills.
  • Microsoft Excel and Word preferred but not required.
  • Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
  • Able to lift to 50 pounds, operate a pallet jack and fork truck a plus

This job operates in a warehouse environment. Some of the work may require usage of required personal protective equipment including steel toe shoes, hearing protection, etc.
