CircleIT has set the security standard in the ITAD industry for the past 20 years and pioneered certified ESG reporting for enterprises and a digital ITAD solution for remote workers, small businesses, and consumers.

What You’ll Do:
As a Business Development Representative, you will work directly with both our Marketing and Sales teams to develop new leads on behalf of CircleIT.  You will be focused on helping to identify new business and be the first point of contact with our prospects. You will also have account management responsibility for an existing client base of SMB and mid-market clients. 

We are looking for an energetic and highly driven individual who is a great communicator, who has a passion for the environment, who loves challenging the status quo, and who is focused on solving problems for companies ranging from a local school district to top global consumer brands.

Responsibilities:
  • Be the first point of contact with prospects to present our mission and value proposition
  • Develop a relationship-based sales approach anchored in a strong sense and understanding of the CircleIT brand and services
  • Use effective selling techniques to uncover customer needs
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations  
  • Once leads are qualified, help to set up appointments for sales team
  • Efficiently research companies to learn more about them and uncover contacts
  • Overcome objections and effectively communicate to key decision-makers
  • Follow up on our marketing-driven leads
  • Maintain relationships with prospects through contact and support
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records in CRM
  • Account management for an existing client base of SMB and mid-market clients

You Should Apply If You:
 
  • Have a bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Have 1 - 3 years of experience in sales and/or account management and applicable education
  • Are excited about being positioned with a company and service that is driving the circular economy for our planet and that truly makes a difference in the lives of many including your own family. 
  • Have a passion for turning leads into new business and building long-term relationships with clients.
  • Strong computer skills, including working with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.), CRM’s and other databases
  • Have excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Are driven to exceed performance objectives. 
  • Have experience and knowledge in technology including hardware, software, and services.
  • Have the ability to thrive in a dynamic and purpose-driven organization
  • Have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A great sense of humor – we do not take ourselves too seriously.
