Their market reach is extensive, with products available in 196 countries. 

Summary function
 
The VP of Sales for the Sports Division in North America is a pivotal role aimed at spearheading sales initiatives and achieving sales objectives. This leader will steer the Sales Team and dealer network, establishing both immediate and long-term sales strategies, and fostering enduring relationships to surpass business goals and client expectations. Proficient in discerning market trends within the industry, the VP of Sales will proficiently relay and act on the dynamic market forces to pivot strategic account and budget directions. This role is also responsible for keeping C-level executives abreast of targets and developments. Collaboration with the marketing and product development teams is key to identifying and nurturing avenues for future expansion.
 
Key Responsabilities
  • Evaluate the Dealer network to ensure synergy with sales methodologies, market segments, and product strategies.
  • Lead monthly sales analyses of project pipelines and prospects within the CRM system.
  • Craft sales support tools to augment the sales team’s performance and impact.
  • Oversee North America's sales force and coordinators to guarantee uniform sales achievements.
  • Negotiate and maintain Dealer agreements as necessary.
  • Empower the Sales Team and Dealer network with comprehensive resources to secure project wins.
  • Remain attuned to industry movements, economic shifts, technological advancements, competitors, and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to formulate and discuss sales and profit forecasts.
  • Investigate sales prospects beyond the current product lines and distribution frameworks.
  • Foster a unified and driven North American sales team.
  • Report on sales activities, financial health, and growth prospects to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Engage regularly with various departments to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Address and resolve any customer grievances concerning products or services.
  • Make strategic decisions informed by data to optimize performance and resource distribution.
  • Cultivate and maintain key client relationships.
  • Oversee pricing strategies to reflect value and enhance closing rates.
  • Participate in industry trade fairs and championships to strengthen relationships and expand industry expertise.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures while adeptly navigating and solving problems within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
 
 


Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 4-year college or university degree
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a related field
  • Previous team leadership with a proven track record
