Confidential Job Description: Safety Manager

We are seeking a Safety Manager for a full-time position at our headquarters in Ainsworth, TX. The Safety Manager will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures, as well as assisting in achieving productivity goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with a minimum of 5+ years of safety manager experience in industrial construction or equivalent
• Experience with various safety councils
• Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA and DOT
• Ability to lead and train a team
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Ensure personnel compliance with relevant safety systems
• Schedule and conduct personnel training
• Inspect and verify company compliance with safety regulations
• Advise management on safety compliance concerns
• Conduct post-accident investigations and prepare reports
• Plan and conduct safety training
• Maintain safety records and databases
• Analyze incident reports and injury case studies to implement changes for a safer environment
• Work with project teams to address safety issues on project sites
• Inspect machinery and facilities for safety hazards

This position requires occasional travel for job site audits and daily attendance at our Ainsworth, TX office. Weekend and holiday work may be required based on business needs. A cell phone must be maintained for safety emergencies.
