We are looking for Electrical Engineers, P.E. at all experience levels, from recently licensed to seasoned professionals, to join our growing team. You will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of solar and battery storage projects, ensuring technical excellence while fostering collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will be aligned with experience level and may include:- Designing and developing electrical systems for solar and battery storage projects.
- Conducting feasibility studies, power system modeling, and detailed engineering calculations.
- Developing and reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NFPA, NERC).
- Stamping engineering drawings (if applicable, for PE-licensed candidates).
- Providing technical guidance, mentoring junior engineers, and leading teams (for mid- to senior-level engineers).
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project success.
- Participating in site visits, construction support, and commissioning activities as needed.
- Staying updated on the latest advancements in solar and battery storage technologies.
- Supporting business development efforts by providing technical expertise for proposals.
We are open to candidates at all levels who have obtained their Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, with additional requirements varying based on experience
Newly Licensed Candidates:- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for renewable energy and a willingness to learn.
- Internship or project experience in power systems, renewables, or electrical design is a plus.
- 2+ years (post license achievement) experience in electrical engineering, preferably in solar, battery storage, or power systems.
- Experience with electrical design, power conversion, and grid interconnection.
- Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and other industry standards.
- Experience with software such as AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, CYMCAP, and PVsyst.
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with leadership experience preferred.
- Proven experience in utility-scale solar and battery storage projects.
- Ability to lead teams, manage projects, and provide technical mentorship.
- Experience with specifying and procuring electrical equipment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
