CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT/CAN JOB, NURSING DEPARTMENT, FT, EAST TROY

We are hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA for our Nursing Department as a Full-Time job in East Troy, WI. This will be a full-time 6:00am - 2:30pm position.

We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistant/CNAs Job to join our Nursing Department in East Troy. We are a 50-bed Medicare-certified Skilled Nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, have organizational skills and be passionate about helping the community.

Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the residents with activities of daily living along with providing patient/resident care as required under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse.
• Completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care
• Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Implements plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs.
• Provides direct patient/resident care and reports condition and changes to RN or LPN.
• Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
• Documents results of patient/resident care within established policies, procedures and scope of practice.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.

Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA Job Requirements:

• Must be listed on the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry
• Must have an active Nursing Assistant Certification
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must be in good physical health to be able to perform physical requirements of the job
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• Satisfactory results of a background check
• Verification of employment eligibility
• Will be required to have flu shot or wear mask during flu season
• Prefer previous hospital or nursing home experience
• CPR certified is a plus
