Baker, Manock & Jensen, a full -service AV-rated law firm in Fresno, CA, seeks a full-time Litigation Secretary. This position is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your multi-tasking skills in a hands-on role working collaboratively with the firm's clients and employees.
- Managing attorneys' calendars, dockets, and appointments;
- Preparing documents for attorney review, including correspondence, memoranda, reports, court documents, and other legal proceedings;
- Cross-training with and supporting other legal secretaries;
- Maintaining client files in accordance with Firm guidelines;
- Communicating with clients verbally and in writing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of legal guidance i.e., local, federal, and state;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail;
- Maintains strict confidentiality;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook;
- Paralegal Certificate by a program approved by the American Bar Association is preferred.
- Notary Public Certification preferred.
