The Onsite Systems Administrator is responsible for handling onsite support and escalations of service requests from the help desk for one client. This relates to all technology, to include: workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software. They help manage vendors, day to day tickets, implement small projects, and participate in large projects. Experience in the medical and IT industries is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems.
  • Support of backup solutions, and recovery/restoration of data/environments.
  • Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, and security.
  • Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
  • System documentation maintenance and review in documentation platform.
  • VERY effective communication with the client as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, which location you are at, and following up on assigned tickets to closure.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Improve client satisfaction and provide proactive, exceptional service.
  • Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively.
  • Work with the Account Manager and IT Manager on any escalated issues.
  • Escalate or work with other Engineers to resolve service requests that require assistance to resolve.
  • Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise as it occurs.
  • Monitoring an onsite service board for new tickets.

  • Be able to prioritize multiple issues and be an extremely effective communicator. Communication both verbally and written is necessary to give updates regarding ongoing issues.
  • Ability to interface with key management personnel both internal and client facing.
  • Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
  • Be Independent, reactive, and proactive given the situation.
  • Advance Experience with Citrix, Storefront Servers, XenApp.
  • Ability to learn technically and apply the knowledge immediately.
  • Experience with Aria EMR
  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience with Nextiva hosted phone solutions.
  • Experience with Nextgen
  • HL7 interface equipment
  • Experience with HP switches
  • Experience with SonicWALL Firewalls.
  • Experience with Server 2003-2016

  • Diagnosis skills of advanced technical issues.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
