The Digital Integration Specialist is responsible for the prompt resolution of user or system issues, along with the proper setup, rules management, and timeline coordination associated with integrating the Digital Reader with the client’s Student Information System (SIS). With a focus on best practices regarding rostering and authentication, integration specialists help both new and existing accounts optimize their user experience. The Digital Integration Specialist provides customer support to users of the platform via phone, Zoom, and help desk (ZenDesk) tickets. Additionally, they are responsible for directing general sales and account queries appropriately and escalating unresolved technical issues to the Development Team as needed. This role reports to the Manager of Digital Support and works in collaboration with the Account Rep and Support Teams to ensure that rostering and account setups are accurate and that each account has everything it needs to succeed. 
Key Duties
  • Collaborate with both the client technology team and our internal Development team on the successful integration of Clever, Classlink, SFTP, and other Student Information Systems (SIS) with the Digital Reader.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact and facilitator for a District/School as it relates to the setup and maintenance of the integration process.
  • Manage new integrations by identifying scope of integration and district specific requirements, and communicating to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide reactive assistance (troubleshooting, remediation, resolution) when a customer encounters a data integration issue.
  • Join Account Reps and/or schedule customer check-ins regularly to understand any data system changes or product needs and to forecast and plan integration changes accordingly.
  • Understand the Digital Reader product, rostering data requirements, and custom data integrations.
  • Collaborate with the Development team to ensure Digital Reader priorities are communicated.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on integration requirements for Classlink, Clever, and other SIS integrations.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of post-high school education and related work experience
  • Previous Product Integration, Development, or Technical Support experience required
  • Strong technical knowledge specific to software platforms and/or applications
  • Experience or willingness to learn to read/decipher basic code (ability to write/implement code is a plus)
  • Educational software experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal and external customers
  • Proven ability to convey information both technically and in layman’s terms, depending on the audience, to ensure clear understanding
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate in a cross-functional environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail to ensure a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Experience interacting positively with customers to ensure consistent and prompt communication
  • Works well both within a team environment and independently
Experience with any of the following will be considered an additional asset: elementary or literacy education, educational publishing in grades K–12, or educational technology. 
Currently, this position is full-time remote, with plans to transition to an on-site role in the future. However, we may consider continuing this role as remote or remote/in-person hybrid, depending on candidate qualifications and ability to effectively work remotely.
