SoHo Experiential, LLC, an experiential marketing company based in New York City is looking for a highly motivated, experienced, Tour Manager. The position is demanding; it requires thick skin, a fast mind and desire to work hard. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a national tour of spirits tasting and education events. The position demands the ability to think on your feet, adapt learning across a wide variety of situations and is upwardly mobile.
This position requires 100% travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Valid Driver’s License & spotless driving record (MVR); Preference given to those with a Class B CDL
- Understanding of DOT guidelines, reporting and log booking
- Enjoy a wide variety of work situations and challenges
- Demonstrate ability to be flexible in work situations—locations, schedules, and duties may change while on tour minute to minute
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Have superior verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong problem solving and motivational skills
- Have exceptional organizational skills
- Must have the ability to gather and analyze information and report key insights with recommendations for solutions
- Must deliver on tight deadlines
- College degree preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage tour staff including AV Technician, Wait Staff Captain and Local Market Managers
- Manage all aspects of the event flow including all cues and Brand Ambassador support
- Drive a 26’ box truck to and from all events
- Manage all aspects of venue logistics including set-up and strike
- Ensure all event elements are assembled and functioning correctly and completely
- Ensure all event elements are present at each event
- Ensure all event elements are clean each event day
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of vehicle & event elements including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Ensure reporting on promotion’s progress is completed within 24 hours of each event
- Represent both SoHo Experiential and the client in an appropriate manner to general public, clients, media, venue management and local vendors
- Consumer interaction
- Assist in management of vendors that support the execution of the tour
- Tracking of tour budgets and inventories
- Ensure reporting on promotion’s progress includes both positive and constructive feedback to improve results
- Accurately complete all paperwork in a timely manner for submission
- Management of hotel booking
