Duties:               Technical analysis of renewable energy project development including explanation and defense of analysis methodology; Analytical and administrative responsibilities for electrical interconnection and development of renewable energy projects; Project scoping, screening analyses, generator interconnection, facilities studies, IA negotiation and strategic initiatives in renewable energy; Provide reports from the Transmission Department by summarizing project outcomes, risk factors, and discussing accuracy; Represent the company at industry conferences and meetings with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:   Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and sixty (60) months of experience in positions in electrical engineering in energy transmission, as well as sixty (60) months of experience in each of the following skills: (i) PSS/E; (ii) North American Reliability Corporation (NERC) guidelines; (iii) Circuit analysis in ASPEN; and (iv) Performing power-flow simulations.

Other:                Position may require occasional travel and ability to promptly respond to emergency storm duty.
