Our client, a prominent technology solutions provider is currently seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team. The selected candidate will assume the role of providing technical leadership to the sales and service teams, collaborating with the Professional Services and Sales teams to ensure efficient and profitable project implementations.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:
  • Provide technical leadership within the branch, serving as the primary resource for technical inquiries and validation.
  • Initiate, execute, or lead Proof of Concept solutions tailored to market demands and specific client requirements.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services and Sales teams to refine the Solution Engineer process (S2P), ensuring streamlined and profitable project implementations.
  • Support account executives in client acquisition, retention, and growth efforts, actively participating in client discovery meetings.
  • Generate comprehensive documents such as scope of work (SOW), work breakdown structure (WBS), estimated hours, and pricing for services, hardware, software, and licensing.
  • Evaluate and compile costing and pricing information for review in solution design assessments.
  • Formulate and uphold standardized technical solutions subject to validation and approval by the CTO, utilizing the company's internal scoping tool.
  • Achieve project departmental budget and margin objectives.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or solution engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of SMB solutions and capabilities within the field of expertise
  • Proficient in accurately articulating complex technology concepts to clients
  • Demonstrated experience in creating detailed scope of work (SOW), work breakdown structure (WBS), estimated hours, and pricing for services, hardware, software, and licensing
  • Proven expertise in project financial management, including meeting departmental budget and margin goals
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
Pay Range:
​​​$70,000 - $100,000/annually
