@Orchard LLC is excited to support the emergence of a new force in Plastic Surgery solutions for the Scottsdale, AZ market and beyond, through the recruitment of an experienced but also visionary Business Manager. Our client seeks to break the status quo within plastic surgery, by creating an exceptional patient experience, coupled with repeatable and scalable processes designed to facilitate the growth of a network of surgeries, each providing consistently consistent excellence.
As the Business & Operations Manager in the inaugural location, your responsibilities will be to create the best experience for patients, the finest processes and operational protocols, and the optimized staffing and organization structure for the location. The bigger picture comes as you seek to standardize these experiences into a roadmap to be used as the practice expands into new locations, with your model being the foundation. As the Business & Operations Manager you will.- Lead the pre-launch planning and system selection process for the inaugural surgery location.
- Develop and execute the marketing and PR strategy to grow awareness and build excitement.
- Develop systems and structures for every aspect of the new surgery including vendor selection and management, partnering, and staff-selection.
- Ensure “Day One” is an incredible success story that lays the foundation for future success.
- Once operational, your responsibilities will incorporate every aspect of running and successful and growing surgery center including.
- Operational Management of the office and scheduling, surgeries, consultations, and follow-up appointments.
- Financial Management including budgets, billing, accounts receivable and payable, and financial reporting. Including tracking performance against goals and the P&L.
- Staff Management, from designing the staffing structure through recruiting and onboarding of staff, both full-time and temporary/consultants. Handle HR responsibilities associated with performance management and compliance. Building and maintaining an exceptional performance culture where people are excited to work every day,
- Managing patient engagement to ensure every experience a patient has, from initial meeting to follow-up care is the best available anywhere. Manage inquiries, questions, and concerns efficiently and with empathy.
- Working with the Marketing team to develop the brand and drive engagement through marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing patients.
- Cultivate relationships with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to generate referral traffic – develop innovative and mutually beneficial referral strategies.
- Oversee compliance and risk-management practices to ensure all regulatory rules at the Federal, State and Local levels are met, including HIPAA, OSHA, etc.
- Oversee the smooth operational running of the facility including vendor management for systems and medical equipment, and the optimal management of medical and other supplies.
- A firm belief in your ability to build the best business and operational environment to ensure the success of the inaugural location, and the future growth of multiple practice locations.
- Exceptional vision and motivational skills to build an incredible team committed to the success of the surgery start-up.
- Demonstrated experience running the business operations of a medical facility/practice, ideally within the same or a related field.
- Prior experience in Plastic Surgery, including an understanding of procedures is strongly preferred.
- Experience interacting and developing relationships with high-net-worth customers is desired.
- Established contacts within the vendor and local medical community.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field, or have equivalent experience and certification.
