Logistics Management Consultant
Norfolk, Virginia, or Kittery, Maine
@Orchard LLC has contract opportunities as a subcontractor supporting Naval Sea Systems Command, Shipyards, and Industrial Base agencies associated with workforce and workload management, logistic services, business operations, and total force initiatives. The current task focus is process and performance improvement and project management. The work is located at the Navy Shipyards in Norfolk, VA, or Kittery, ME, primarily working onsite, with some flexibility for limited telework as the project permits.
Active Secret Clearance is Required
As the Logistics Management Consultant, you will be required to:- Work independently with general supervision to complete assigned tasks efficiently and promptly. The problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.
- Influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
- Utilize your practical knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience to complete assigned project tasks.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting Navy logistics and supply chain activities.
- A bachelor’s degree in the field or a related area.
- An active secret clearance.
- Prior experience working with senior government staff such as Flag Officer or SES.
