As an AI-forward organization, we encourage employees at every level to embrace emerging technologies, continuously expand their AI capabilities, and actively incorporate AI tools into their daily work to improve productivity, decision-making, collaboration, and business outcomes.

Position Summary

The Manager, Carrier Partnerships & Infrastructure Contracts serves as the day-to-day operations manager behind Gigapower's wholesale and carrier infrastructure business, reporting to the Head of Strategic Growth. This role helps assess and sell new network access opportunities across Gigapower and partner networks, supports expansion into the enterprise Ethernet business, manages the ABF pilot day to day through its transition to business as usual, owns the cell site database, and supports contract tracking. The role spans four workstreams: carrier backhaul opportunity management, the AT&T and Forge partnership, the ABF pilot and enterprise Ethernet certification and opportunity, and contract tracking and coordination. This role does no legal work.

Key Responsibilities

•         Build and maintain the site opportunity inventory once partner footprint and site data are released, covering towers, small cells, and macro sites within reach of Gigapower's fiber and the partner network, and own the cell site database.

•         Screen every site against the AT&T Bulk and RFP lists so overlapping sites are excluded from outside carrier pursuit.

•         Assist with pricing inputs, bid responses, and business cases for the Head of Strategic Growth's approval, and track every bid from invitation to award.

•         Support outreach to carriers for backhaul opportunities.

•         Own the flow of information among Gigapower, AT&T, and Forge, including data requests, site lists, status reports, and action logs.

•         Run recurring partner meetings, track decisions and follow-ups, and escalate blockers to the Head of Strategic Growth.

•         Act as the Head of Strategic Growth's day-to-day eyes, ears, and spokesperson on the ABF pilot, attending internal and partner pilot meetings, monitoring milestones and KPIs, and reporting status weekly.

•         Make sure Gigapower controls the process: decisions are documented, owners are named, and handoffs are agreed.

•         Support development of the transition plan from the ABF pilot to an ongoing business, including process, roles, reporting, and support model.

•         Support the Head of Strategic Growth in overseeing the Ethernet certification process, coordinating cross-functional requirements, tracking milestones and dependencies, and escalating blockers.

•         Assist with the assessment of the enterprise Ethernet opportunity across Gigapower's footprint and potential partner networks, and help translate viable opportunities into a repeatable business-as-usual (BAU) offering with defined commercial processes, operational handoffs, and ongoing support.

•         Maintain a contract register covering parties, term, renewal dates, and amendment status.

•         Gather the business facts the Head of Strategic Growth needs for access agreement reviews and the AT&T RFP, EFE, and Bulk amendments (no legal work).

•         Leverage AI-enabled tools and technology to improve site analysis, tracking, reporting, and decision-making.

Qualifications

•         7+ years in telecom wholesale, carrier sales, fiber infrastructure, or wireless backhaul.

•         Working knowledge of cell-site backhaul, including Ethernet services, tower and small-cell site data, and carrier ordering.

•         Familiarity with how carrier MSAs, service orders, and access agreements work commercially (no legal drafting required).

•         Proven ability to manage several partners and workstreams at once, with disciplined tracking and status reporting.

•         Strong written communication skills and comfort representing the business in partner and executive meetings.

•         Advanced Excel or GIS skills for site lists, overlap analysis, and pricing models.

•         Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted tools and technology to improve productivity, analysis, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

•         Experience with RFP responses and bid management.

•         Familiarity with pilot-to-production transitions and program management methods.

•         Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Key Competencies

Carrier & Wholesale Acumen: Understands cell-site backhaul, Ethernet services, and how carrier access agreements work commercially.

Partner Relationship Management: Keeps information, meetings, and decisions flowing among Gigapower, AT&T, Forge, and carriers.

Multi-Workstream Coordination: Manages several partners and workstreams at once with disciplined tracking and status reporting.

Opportunity & Bid Support: Builds site inventories, pricing inputs, and bid tracking that move opportunities from invitation to award.

Pilot-to-BAU Transition: Helps turn pilots and Ethernet opportunities into repeatable business-as-usual offerings.

Communication & Representation: Represents the business clearly in partner and executive meetings.

AI Adoption & Applied Productivity: Uses AI tools to enhance site analysis, tracking, reporting, and decision-making.

Execution & Accountability: Documents decisions, names owners, and follows through on commitments.
