The Certified Coding Specialist will be responsible for the coding and abstracting of medical records. The Certified Coding Specialist will be responsible for entering codes for diagnoses, operative procedures, complications, and infections. The Certified Coding Specialist codes for hospital bills for Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance.

- Required Skills

Must have 3-5 Years Inpatient Experience.
Coding experience in Cardiology, Orthopedics, Eye Procedure, OGI.
Must have RHIA, RHIT or CCS Certification.
Must be Proficient in ICD-9 Disease and Procedure Codes.
Must be Proficient with 3M and/or Comparable Encoder.
Must be able to pass an employment coding examination.
