Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure the completion of all assigned work orders
  • Work with Facility Coordinator to complete pending projects
  • Adhere to the highest level of customer service and quality standards
  • Strive to make the community appearance at or above quality standards at all times, including picking up trash, cleaning buildings and amenities on an ongoing basis
  • Address and prevent liability hazards
  • Prepare vacant apartments for move-in which may include painting and cleaning
  • Enter purchase orders and work orders into building platform
  • Maintain records and complete repairs as needed for annual inspections
  • On-call rotation required
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Attend community events as requested

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Exposure to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying (light and heavy loads, 0lbs -100lbs+), climbing stairs and ladders. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate small power tools and other equipment. Must be able to use and wear required safety equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High-rise maintenance experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment (chillers, heat pumps, etc.), plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances
  • Ability to travel and work at other developments
  • HVAC certification (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent college-level/trade school
  • Basic computer proficiency required
  • Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
