Position Summary
We are actively seeking an accomplished and dynamic professional to assume the position of Sr. Director of Client Development. This position is instrumental in nurturing and strengthening client relationships, spearheading business development endeavors, and actively contributing to the sustained prosperity and expansion of our firm. In this role, you will be tasked with cultivating leads, fortifying our presence in designated markets, and perpetuating our commitment to community engagement within the regions we serve.

Position responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:  Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the architecture and design sector to expand the firm's client base. Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic initiatives for business growth.

  2. Client Relationship Management:  Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing clients to understand their needs, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business. Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  3. Proposal Development: Support the marketing team in the preparation and submission of compelling proposals, working closely with the design and technical teams to showcase our firm's capabilities.

  4. Market Research:  Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.

  5. Networking:  Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to establish and strengthen relationships with potential clients and partners.

  6. Collaboration:  Work collaboratively with internal teams, including design, marketing, and the strategic center, to ensure seamless client experiences and project delivery.

  7. CRM Management:  Optimizing Salesforce systems to enhance our client relationship strategies. This involves utilizing the CRM platform to streamline processes, maximize efficiency, and ensure a seamless client experience. The ability to leverage Salesforce tools for data analysis, reporting, and customization will be crucial in driving the success of our client development initiatives.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, architecture, or a related field, or a commensurate combination of educational qualifications and professional experience.

  2. Minimum of five years of experience in client development or a relevant role, with a valuable addition being formal sales training and a background in the design industry. Proven history of successful client relationship management and business development.

  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  4. Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

  5. Ability to travel as required.

  6. Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
