Career Evolutions is looking for a dedicated entry level Hardware Technician for a high tech company in Phoenix, AZ. This is an excellent full-time contract/contract-to-hire career opportunity.
If you have an interest for hardware, software, computers as well electronics and enjoy making sure that the equipment works like it should – then this may be the perfect position for you!
You will prepare equipment for distribution to customers, including unpacking equipment, loading software, setting up accounts in administration, testing equipment, and then repacking equipment for shipments. And you will create labels for shipping.
You are likely an entry level person interested in general IT work as well as such electrical technical work as alarms, intercoms, access control, etc. You have basic computer skills including an understanding of computer cabling, i.e. USB, HDMI, Power Supplies. And you know how to use such basic hand tools as screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Basic electrical skills using a multi-meter
Previous Arduino or Raspberry Pi project experience
Previous alarms or access control experience is desired
Basic Linux skills
Basic network skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
