Title: Electrical Superintendent
Worksite: Waynesboro, GA
Scheduled duration: through 1.31.22
Description: The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for supervising and directing operations within the applicable discipline. Ensures assigned construction operations and contractors performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets. Primarily reports to Lead Superintendent for daily scheduled work priorities, coordination between other disciplines and assigned specific tasks. Also, reports functionally to Lead Electrical Discipline Superintendent for coordination of technical and site specific prioritization of work activities and craft crew distribution.

MUST HAVES
  • Actual Electrical Superintendent experience
  • Must have worked on large construction projects managing 50+ craft personnel
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines from an accredited university as well as a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, or 12 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree.
  • Must be physically capable to conduct field inspections and participate in project walkdowns which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, walking on elevated platforms, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing in very small and/or confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of EPC and EPCM construction programs, technologies, means and methods.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of supervisory functions relating to construction field activities.
  • Working knowledge with ASME NQA-1 1994, 2008 and Addendum 2009.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H) and commitment to a Zero Accident safety program.
  • Basic to Intermediate experience in construction management of nuclear power and non-reactor nuclear facility EPC projects.
