The Data and Reporting Business Analyst is a hands-on role to develop requirements and coordinate with development team for report automation and system development. The ideal candidate would have industry experience in report automation and have understanding in banking industry. He/she should be a team player and should be able to able to engage IT independently with minimal supervision, proficient in speaking and writing in Chinese/Mandarin is needed.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop business and functional requirements for report automation and system implementation
- Assist the team lead in eliciting business requirement from the business stakeholders, manage the planning and execution of requirements gathering workshop
- Design and maintain workflows based on requirements collected, able to provide solutions by analyzing requirements received from multiple teams and technical capability
- Lead the User Acceptance Testing, develop UAT plan and create test cases, report testing progress
- Assist in issue identified in daily business, work with technical team and stakeholder for resolving issues
- Create and maintain user manuals and procedures as needed
- Manage all project management activities, including but not limited to, status updates, project plan updates/maintenance, socialization of deliverables with the stakeholders etc.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks
Experience and Skills required:- 5-10 year experience in data management and business analysis, preferably in the banking sector
- Should have experience on report automation and process management tools
- Should be able to read and write SQL when needed
- Must have strong communication skills and suitable in teamwork environment
- Must be proactive and analytical to evaluate and solve problems independently
- Must be able to work under pressure with the team and deliver results in a timely manner
- Must be willing to learn, self-driven and responsible
Education Requirements:- Bachelor/Master degree in finance or related field
- Advanced degree in data analytics, business analysis, etc. is preferred
