Position: Projects Designer II
Worksite location: Richmond, VA, Petersburg, or Midlothian
Scheduled Contract Duration: 12 months with option to extend
Must be local as work will be performed in the office part of the week
Locations:
2 will be at the 600 Canal Location
1 at the Petersburg location
1 at the Midlothian Office
Schedule: Flex schedule – 3 days in office/ 2 remote

• High Level Project Overview:
o The Company has developed a rural broadband program where as the company will build middle mile fiber and lease excess capacity to internet service providers in an effort to help bring broadband to unserved areas of our service territory. More specifically we are engaging new team members to assist in quality control for the fiber design process to support broadband expansion.
• Preferred Years of Experience:
o 2 to 3+ years directly related experience
• Education:
o Associates Degree/Trade School or Higher Required or minimum 5-7 years of experience
• Are there any specific companies/industries you’d like to see in the candidate’s experience?
o Utility experience in the cable/fiber telecommunication industry
