Senior Project Manager, Network Product Development and Management
The Network Solutions & Operations team (NSO) is powering billions of transactions through the global payments processing network that we develop and manage.
NSO work across almost every business unit in the enterprise as well as external partners, providers, and key industry stakeholders. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, Network Product Development and Management to own and drive execution of token service initiatives. This includes defining project milestones and KPIs, tracking progress across delivery and go-to-market functions, and communicating progress to stakeholders and senior leaders.
This is a high-profile role where you represent the token services team in driving successful delivery of critical initiatives and communicating our overall program status to senior leadership. You collaborate well with cross-functional team influence effectively to drive results. You know how to strike a good balance between building and nurturing relationships, managing partner expectations, and holding colleagues accountable. You are a strong communicator who can extract salient detail and communicate concisely to varying stakeholders and senior leadership. You can identify trends in data and make informed and decisive recommendations regarding re-prioritization of work, clearing roadblocks, and enhancing delivery and operational processes.
Responsibilities will include:- Working extensively with / providing thought leadership to stakeholders, business process owners and project teams to set-up projects by defining project milestones, dependencies, roadmaps, and coordinating alignment across workstreams.
- Working with various functions to identify project dependences and ensure requisite tasks/requests are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the various product roadmaps.
- Developing and implementing appropriate reporting for various constituents including leadership and stakeholders to communicate program status, including potential risks or issues to overall program objectives, timeline.
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, including identification of off-track items, implications to interdependencies, other workstreams and overall project timeline.
- Coordinate annual team investment planning activities
- Responsible for diligent and organized documentation and record keeping
- Support the development of a key metrics scorecards and program status communications
- Provide expert PMO initiative intake and prioritization.
- Tracking and ensuring token services are managed within operational budget
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications- Minimum 5+ years of project management experience
- Demonstrated project management competency, leading projects from concept to implementation. Proven track record of working with global and virtual teams to support product delivery with high quality
- Minimum 1 year working directly with clients or external partners – managing communications, expectations, and being the external “face” of a team, with impeccable attention to detail and professionalism
- Able to build positive relationships, collaborate effectively, and influence decisions with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
- Competency in analyzing and extracting insights from data
- Proactive “driver” constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery.
- Thrives in ambiguous and fast-changing environment
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated comfort with challenging status quo
- Prior experience in payments preferred
- Strong ability to stay connected to remote partners and stakeholders
- Desire to have fun, work with others and find perspective in challenging situations
