Description

Reporting to the Director of Network Product Development, this newly created Sr. Manager/Manager of Network Product Development & Management will be asked to drive ideation, explore new use cases, and design high-level solutions, as well as support the end-to-end product development lifecycle.

 

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Creating and iterating debit product use cases and maintaining debit and related product roadmaps.
  • Monitoring payment market trends, conducting payment user research and defining the problem(s) and solutions to inform strategic decisions.
  • Defining and prioritizing high-level debit product, form factors and debit routing capability needs, including investment prioritization.
  • Providing consultation with proprietary and network participants on debit products, routing, and pricing constructs.
  • Partnering with technical architects to design high-level solutions and stress-test/validate network debit product and routing constructs
  • Developing relationships with key external payment ecosystem partners.
  • Representing and promoting the team in industry forums.
  • Helping to prioritize detailed debit capability and routing requirements and ensure their delivery through enterprise tech and business teams.
  • Analyzing product performance and leveraging it to inform future tactical and strategic plans.
  • Supporting debit throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Leading and assisting cross-functional network product and technical teams in developing and launching bank-issued debit products in local markets.
Minimum Qualifications
 

Qualifications

  • Payments industry experience, preferably including some combination of debit/credit processing and/or policy, payment card debit/credit acquiring operations, and issuer operations.
  • Product development and management experience.
  • Excellent indirect internal and external influencing and negotiation skills to deliver multi-faceted and complex deals. Proven track record of managing and delivering change in complex and highly matrixed payment network, issuer, and/or service organizations.
  • High intellectual curiosity, with excellent creative and critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong comfort in dealing with ambiguity, while maintaining focus on delivering strategic initiatives
  • Outstanding communicator with peers and senior management with the ability to distill complex topics into clear and concise messages, adapted for the audience appropriately.
  • High energy, an optimistic attitude, and a good sense of humor.
