Description
Our client, a global tier one automotive supplier in the Metro Detroit area, is seeking a Human Resources Sr. Manager to oversee HR operations for the Americas region.
 
  • Ensure HR alignment with business strategy
  • Define and implement regional policies in alignment with corporate policy
  • Directs regional compensation and benefits, employee relations, employee development and talent acquisition
  • Spearhead strategies to attract and retain employees
  • Provide guidance and coaching to regional business leaders
  • Monitor key HR metrics
  • Lead team of HR Managers in locations across the Americas

Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree Business, Human Resources or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years in an HR management role
  • Experience working within a global organization, preferably in the auto industry

Other Competencies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with the use of HRIS software (Success Factors, ADP, etc.)
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to coach leaders across business functions
  • Motivation to foster initiatives for employee well-being and development
  • Possesses problem solving skills and has the ability to quickly take action in complex situations
  • Solid knowledge of labor laws within the region

Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
