POSITION OVERVIEW
The Site Reliability Engineer will play a leading role in continuing to improve the use of internal tools and products delivered within the company, with a focus on supporting our .NET and Ruby software platforms in Production. This position will have investigative skills and the experience of working in Production environment. This position will report to the Director of DevOps/IT and work closely with the development and QA teams.

REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
This role is eligible for remote work. Occasional meetings may be required in Denver headquarters.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- 7+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or a Systems Administrator
- IaaS automation and deployment management with one of the following experiences, Ansible, Concourse, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps
- Expert background in .NET or equivalent languages. (Ruby, Java or Node)
- 5+ years’ experience with Container systems such as Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry or CoreOS
- 5+ years’ experience with APM toolsets such as New Relic, Datadog or Azure Monitor
- 5+ years’ experience in being able to perform RCA in short timespans and determine a fix communicating and working with other teams to ensure that fix is deployed
- Ideally holds one of Microsoft Corporations DevOps Certifications
- Be able to design and articulate highly available systems
- Design and implement BCP/DR in a cost appropriate structure
- Background in networking automation
- Be able to diagnose problems at an OS level, Code level and Process level
- Provide operational support in all things Development and Operations
- 10 years+ of experience with SDLC with an emphasis on delivery
- Experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, FluentD or Kibana equivalents
- 5 years’ experience in incident management as a technical escalation point
- Proven engagement in developing and using tools to automate manual tasks
- Experience in on call tooling such as OpsGenie or PagerDuty
- Performs other related duties as requested by management
TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS- BA/BS or equivalent work experience preferred
- Ensuring that production is highly resilient, and all processes procedures and steps are taken to ensure Business Stability
- Aiding in data centre consolidation and standards for Infrastructure
- Migration and definition of appropriate high availability infrastructure for the software platform
- Partnering with Development teams guiding and leading them to design code that’s highly available and scalable
- Defining, building, and implementing automation in all areas possible
- Defining observability and metrics capture
- Tracking and defining SLA, SLO with availability
This position is based remotely with a salary of $140,000 -$160,000.
