Overland Partners is seeking experienced project architects/project managers, who through their educational, professional and life experience demonstrate a passion for improving the built environment and a dedication to serving clients, consultants, and colleagues. Candidates must hold an accredited degree in the field of architecture and be a licensed architect in the United States. LEED Accreditation and proven commitment to sustainability is highly valued. Our ideal candidate will have 8 or more years of experience.

The ideal candidate will possess progressive knowledge and demonstrated understanding of design and construction from site analysis and programming, document preparation, and contract administration, through close-out. He/she provides architectural services and may lead processes across phases of a project, manage staffing and team assignment, and coordinates the production of project deliverable. The ideal candidate will comprehend and apply knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations and other ordinances to design development, resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways, and be able to manage projects of varying size and complexity to ensure adherence to budget, contract terms, and customer requirements. He/she will also set the project budget and approve invoices, determine scope of work, establish schedules, and coordinate with external consultants on design and technical aspects of the project.

The Project Manager/Project Architect should have strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills. We expect PM/PA’s to be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite as well as the design tools necessary to communicate effectively in all project phases, including but not limited to Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Rhino, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
