THE OPPORTUNITY
The Field Integration Specialist provides a positive customer experience by performing the primary field operational duties of integrating an audio-visual and network-based advanced OR visualization system (ActivSight) into a medical operating room environment. This Position
Reports to: Director of Integration and Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Support the commercial sales team in the setup, integration and clinical operation of the ActivSight advanced visualization system for sales demonstrations, customer clinical evaluations and post-sale installations.
Provide telephone and on-site technical support and service resolution for commercial sales team and customers.
Accountable for accurate documentation and tracking of different deployment scenarios and coordinating product enhancements with marketing and engineering teams.
Under guidance of Commercial Sales Team, interact with internal and external clients to coordinate the accomplishment of business needs. Responsible for maintaining up to date hospital credentialing portfolio. Follows hospital protocols and exhibits professional conduct when working with customers, management, and fellow employees. Utilizes customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities. Responsible for cost-effectively managing travel and equipment expenses.
Flexible scheduling may be required to accommodate customer needs. This may include working outside of an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM workday. May be required to work evening, early morning, or weekend shifts as needed to complete projects.
Up to 80% travel within the United States as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or related field.
3-5 years electro-mechanical installation or commercial audiovisual integration installation experience, or related experience.
Basic experience in audio/video control systems or medical devices or computer systems.
Able to use hand tools and power meters.
Basic experience in control systems, network-based devices, power amplifiers, video matrix switchers, video scalers, and digital video recorders.
Experience downloading, updating and configuring software.
Ability to draw, read and understand schematics.
Experience working with integrated operating room (iOR) systems and endoscopic surgical camera systems (scopes, cameras, monitors) strongly preferred.
Work in and around hospital personnel, sensitive medical equipment, and patients.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment across multi-functional areas.
Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive and accurate. Ability to work with urgency and thrive in a high-stress, high-energy, fast-paced startup environment.
Demonstrate excellent communication, verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
