The Challenge:

The purpose of the Cyber Fraud Investigation Team is to drive investigations through root-cause analysis of complex fraud events, determine incident impact, and provide remediation recommendations. The Cyber Fraud Investigations Team is currently seeking a short-term Fraud Investigator to assist in the day-to-day operations of identifying and mitigating fraud related vulnerabilities and exploits impacting Adobe. This is a 1-year contract position and reports to Manager, Cyber Fraud Investigations.

What You'll Do:
  • ​​​​​​Investigate, analyze, and report cases of fraud/abuse related activity within or targeting Adobe's systems.
  • Integrate both traditional (covert/overt) and technical (SQL) investigative techniques within the intelligence gathering process.
  • Research cases ranging in complexity, fraud vector and scope.
  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics Team to detect, scale, and monitor fraud and abuse related behavior through key point indicators and data visualizations.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and collaborate with Adobe internal teams to provide solutions-based recommendations.
  • Work with Adobe internal teams to gain business-critical information.
  • Produce investigative reports synthesizing data and information from across multiple platforms, systems, and tools to present key findings to necessary stakeholders for case resolve.
  • Utilize internal and external fraud identification tools and platforms.
  • Partner with external groups and industry affiliates to combat fraud and abuse related behavior.
What You'll Need:
  • Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO).
  • 2+ years of experience as a fraud analyst/investigator Communication Skills; Ability to present key findings and recommendations to various stakeholders and audiences.
  • Adaptability/ Prioritization; Able to operate in a fast-paced work environment and shift focus/priorities quickly.
  • Creativity- "Thinking outside the box" approach.
  • Self-sufficient/Self-motivated - Can work collaboratively as well as independently through automated and manual efforts.
  • Attentive to detail - Ability to be thorough in the end-to-end process of an ask or project.
  • A basic understanding and capability to execute basic investigation-style SQL queries (ex. w/inner/left joins).
  • ​​​​​​An inquisitive and investigative nature: You are driven by curiosity and seek answers to problems by sifting through messages, logs and tangible evidence to understand the mindset and actions of an attacker.
  • Willingness and desire to work independently and problem-solve with visionary guidance.
  • Positive, learning mindset along with a detail-oriented, analytical approach to problem solving.
  • You are excited about working remotely and have the skills and self-discipline to do so effectively.
  • Fraud Operations or Investigations experience is required.

Pay Range:
$42.25 - $52.81/ HR
