ABOUT THE POSITION
The Senior Data Analyst, Supply Chain is responsible for providing analytical support to strategic supply chain initiatives by conducting comprehensive data analysis, standardizing data across systems, and overseeing the collection, transformation, and accurate reporting of critical information. This role plays a pivotal part in driving data quality enhancements and implementing visualization techniques to empower decision-making across diverse functional areas.
Key Deliverables- Design data visualization tools for evaluating and summarizing insights and research results.
- Prepare reports for executive leaders to communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Deliver supply chain analytic insights (planning, inventory, capacity, on time delivery, etc.).
- Identify data sources, develop integrated tools and assist with Supply Chain KPIs/metrics analysis.
- Perform detailed analysis and provide KPIs/metrics to leadership and executive Supply Chain stakeholders as needed.
- Aiding and leading projects related to Supply Chain optimization.
Key Activities & Responsibilities- Create best-in-class/compelling visualization of data, dashboards, tools, and reports that supports the interpretation and conclusions that drives key decisions for leadership.
- Identify, organize, and analyze relevant datasets in support ongoing research projects.
- Coordinate data extraction and consolidation across multiple business units.
- Support the optimization of Oracle Cloud ERP in the areas of Supply Chain Planning and Execution [Safety stocks, PFEP, segmenting, etc].
- Aiding and leading projects related to Supply Chain optimization.
- Create and run OTBI Reports.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:- Bachelor’s degree in analytics, computer science, technology, engineering, or a related field and/or combination of training and experience as deemed sufficient by management.
- 5+ years of experience in data mining, statistical analysis, or business analytics.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI or comparable Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools, demonstrating proficiency in data visualization, dashboard creation, and insightful reporting.
- Proficient knowledge of SQL or other structured programming languages (C, Java, etc.).
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion, specifically with Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, and Sourcing preferred.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence is required.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain concepts, best practices, and operational research.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- General knowledge of mainframe system architecture (SAP, Oracle).
