ABOUT THE POSITION
The Oracle CX BA-Admin is part of the corporate Information Technology team at Astec Industries, Inc., reporting to the Director, Global ERP.  This position will be relied upon as the subject matter expert for Oracle CX and is responsible for managing and supporting all functional and technical aspects of this module.  The position must be able to configure CX, write functional specs, provide production support, write and execute test plans.  The position will also be responsible for supporting related solutions such as Documoto and Five9.  The position should have basic project management skills, coordinating activities with vendors and other internal and project teams. 

Key Activities & Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain all Oracle Migration & Integration needs as they pertain to all CX Business Applications (OIC, OFS, CRM, DCS, IDCS, Marketing Cloud, Outlook, eCommerce, content management, in conjunction with CX Partner(eVerge, Documoto, Dealer Portal, Five9, Docebo)
  • Create and manage project plans
  • Support and maintain additional related systems such as Documoto and Five9
  • Write functional specifications
  • Write Test plans
  • Execute Test plans
  • Train users
  • This role is the conduit between Oracle, Astec IT & Partners including aligning with CX with ERP
  • This role (in conjunction with partners) is responsible for representing CX in Dev environment strategy & moves with Dev Ops in Astec and whatever PwC control is to ensure we are aligned
  • This role is responsible for all security roles configuration and access and controls for CX (regardless of fusion/non-fusion) internal leads, super users, next level super users, and all CX users’, this will be done in conjunction with partners.
  • This role is responsible for tracking, reviewing, determining effects on CX, for all updates and upgrades across the entire program (Oracle, Documoto, Five9, Dealer Portal, Docebo).
  • This role is responsible for all systems reporting requirements, and enhancement requests for Oracle CX & related systems
  • This role oversees any other associate/partner system admins across the program
  • This role is responsible for any CX Astec Helpdesk, Oracle SR, or any other partners request for help or service tickets, and their tracking
  • Understands the Oracle data necessary to make Oracle CX function and how it integrates in with the rest of the Oracle modules
  • Implement process improvements

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with equivalent technical and experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting, configuring, implementing Oracle CX
  • 2+ years experience in large multi-site implementation projects
  • Preferred international implementation experience
  • Experience managing and/or coordinating with 3rd party partners
  • Experience working with cross functional project teams
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferable
  • Preference for the position to be local to Chattanooga, TN but will consider remote
  • Experience writing business specifications
  • Experience writing and executing test plans
  • Experience training users
  • Experience with day-to-day production support and system performance monitoring
  • Ability to travel some
  • Understanding of Oracle CX underlying data
  • Ability to create and document process flows
  • Experience working oracle service requests
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks and set priorities
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manner
  • Ability to travel some for projects
