ABOUT THE POSITION
The Billing Specialist will coordinate quality assurance of transactional activities related billing.
This position is responsible for providing oversight to the end-to-end invoicing process while
providing transactional support. This role will provide resolution to customer inquiries externally
while escalating additional items to appropriate personnel as needed. This position
predominately reviews and oversees all transactional activities involved in the invoicing process
and will work to resolve customer billing inquiries or issues.

Deliverables & Responsibilities
• The Billing Specialist is required to review all processed customer invoices for validation
against the sales order, any related shipping documents, supporting quote-to-cash value
stream processes.
• Escalate and/or resolve customer billing inquiries or issues in a timely manner while driving
customer satisfaction.
• Understand and apply the full quote-to-cash value stream processes, key policies, and
standard operating procedures.
• Liaise with AR Cash application functions to communicate relevant customer information
that would impact billing or open receivables.
• Coordinate directly with customers and internal parties on any customer billing errors or
disputes providing valuable insight to resolve and prevent further discrepancies.
• Ensure billing and its internal controls documentation is in compliance with Company policy
as well as support internal and external audit processes as needed.
• Participate Oracle Cloud testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT or Functional Testing).
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
• Two years of college or technical school accounting courses; or two to four years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The individual should be knowledgeable of PCs and Microsoft Office programs.
• The individual should be well organized, able to handle multiple tasks and be able to change
directions when necessary.
• The individual should demonstrate dependability and have a high degree of accuracy.
• The individual should have strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• The individual should have a strong focus on customer service.
• The individual should possess basic verbal and written communication skills and ability to
work effectively as part of a team.
• Assist with other projects as needed.
• Experience working in a SOX environment, preferred.
