Movement School is a growing network of free, public charter schools. We exist to love and value scholars and communities by leading a movement of excellence in education. In partnership with our families, we equip our scholars with the tools to close generational gaps through self-efficacy, access to world-class instruction, and financial education.
General SummaryOur teachers lead in developing the mind and character of our students. As a Multilingual Learner teacher, one of your primary responsibilities is to serve a linguistically diverse student population. While recognizing that students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds have various assets, you also support them in English language acquisition through co-teaching, small group, and one-on-one instruction. Additionally, you help select and implement interventions, ILPs, and other personalized learning plans for each Multilingual Learner.
All teachers are provided with a best-in-class, research-based curriculum for all subjects. Each Friday at Movement School is a half-day for students, allowing teachers time for weekly professional development related to data analysis, management, and instruction.
