Position Summary:
Our team is looking for an intern to support construction project teams with various preconstruction and project management tasks as needed for each assigned project.
Responsibilities:
· Quantity Take-off
· Subcontractor and Supplier Bid Solicitation
· Bid Analysis and Recommendations for Award
· Project Scheduling (Master CPM schedule and 4-week look ahead schedules)
· Job Start-up activities
o Permitting
o Insurance
o Utilities
o Preconstruction meetings
o Sequence Schedules and Site Staging Plans
· Submittals
· Requests for Information
· Subcontractor Coordination
· Change Requests
· Cost Projections
· Safety Audits
· Meeting Minutes
· Weekly Reports
· Project Closeout
o Warranties / O&M Manuals
o Punchlists
o As-Built Drawings
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge:
· Pursuit of Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
· Junior or Senior in College Program
· Previous constrution experience preferred.
· Represent the Company and project teams in a positive manner in all project meetings.
· The most successful candidates demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety, community, quality, sense of urgency, and fun.
General:
· Reporting Relationship: Project Manager of Integrate Construction Partners
· Work Environment: This job requires approximately 70% office presence and 30% field jobsite presence potentially spread over several states.
· Physical Demands: This position requires no minimum to lift, bend or stand. Safety must be top priority as this position operates in potentially hazardous conditions.
· Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Workdays are predominantly Monday-Friday and hours of work are anticipated at 20 hours per week, depending on project size, location, and work deadlines.
· Travel: Travel is primarily locally during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.
