Lawrence Group is seeking a motivated, and energetic interior or architectural design student to join our St. Louis office as a summer 2026 Intern. Our team specializes in collaborating with clients to roll out their brands on a national basis. Most project work is technical and production oriented in nature. Project involvement will include general project and/or office tasks as directed by the Project Manager or team leader including, but not limited to Revit, BIM360, AutoCAD, building department due diligence, architectural construction documents. engineer coordination and permitting services. Project involvement may also include space planning, finish selection, design development and detailing. The internship will begin June 2026 and will conclude August 2026. Qualified candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited Interior Design/Interior Architecture program seeking professional experience in a commercial architecture/interior design office.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Pursing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited College or University
- Motivated, self-starter with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment as directed by Project Manager or Team Leader.
- General knowledge of construction, interior materials, details, methods and standard building codes.
- General Knowledge and Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft (Office, Outlook, Excel, Word) and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) is a minimum requirement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with a strong work ethic.
