EHCA is seeking a Direct Support Professional / Team Leader to provide overall direct/personal care and program services for the Agency’s clients. This is for a full-time job opportunity in on the West Side (Millcreek) Erie, PA.
A great deal of experience as a Direct Support Professional is required. Ability to perform client care services requiring manual, observational, and judgmental skills. Excellent literacy skills required.
Must be able to implement individualized programs following written objectives and plans; record all necessary information, observations, and daily progress notes. Immediate supervision of shift(s) as assigned (when CHC is not on duty). Provide needed direction to co-workers to ensure that residents care and daily needs are provided, goals completed, health and safety needs are met.
Direct Support Professional Job Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
18 years of age or older
Valid Drivers License
Some travel required
Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Immediate supervision of shifts as assigned
Complete First Aid/CPR training
