Thompson is looking for an exceptional, passionate, dedicated human services professional to help change the lives of young adults in our community. Thompson Rise is expanding and will need a new Rise Coach who will support young adults ages 16-21 as they transition to adulthood. These transitional living “coaches” will work with a caseload of eight young adults, most of whom are transitioning out of the foster care or juvenile justice systems. The coach will support each youth in achieving their individualized goals which will support a successful transition to living a successful, independent adult life. Expected outcomes from this program will be young adults maintaining stable housing, engaging in productive work or educational activities, remaining free from legal involvement and becoming self-sufficient. Coaches will work in the home and community, meeting these youth where they work, live and spend their time. Building strong, trusting therapeutic relationships will be a critical skill for all Thompson coaches. The program length will average 6 – 9 months.
