EHCA is seeking a Caregiver to provide overall direct/personal care and program services for the Agency’s clients. This is for a job opportunity in Erie, PA.
A great deal of experience as a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional is required. Ability to perform client care services requiring manual, observational, and judgmental skills. Excellent literacy skills required.
Must be able to implement individualized programs following written objectives and plans; record all necessary information, observations, and daily progress notes. This individual is responsible for upkeep of budget, dispensing money and keeping record of resident’s money. Upkeep of DAS, profile attendance sheet and data through Care Tacker. Responsible for receiving calls from other MOVE workers – replacing staff (absences due to sickness).
Direct Support Professional Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid Drivers License
- Can lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Min of 1 year healthcare/ ID experience
