We’re hiring for a PRN Practitioner (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) at our Greater Austin Allergy - Austin Texas locations

Coverage needed Monday-Friday up to 3 days a week​

Practitioners, either Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants, at Greater Austin Allergy are client-focused individuals that pride themselves on being driven by well-founded clinical research and thorough patient education. A commitment to providing high quality care, through accurate diagnoses and effective treatments, while performing in a fast-paced environment, are essential skills for the Greater Austin Allergy Practitioner.

As a Practitioner at Greater Austin Allergy you can expect to work with today’s leaders in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Supporting this team, you will find yourself analyzing and interpreting patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Our Practitioners are a great part of what makes us so successful in providing allergy suffers with long-lasting relief!

Required Skills

Practitioner (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) Education and Experience Requirements:

Master's degree
At least one year experience required
Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant License for State of Texas in good standing; Active DEA License in good standing; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Diagnoses or treats acute health care problems relative to allergy, asthma, and immunology issues
Orders, performs, or interprets the results of diagnostic tests
Establishes and maintains relationships with key personnel in assigned practice environment
Keeps abreast of developments in allergy, asthma, and immunology field
Maintains basic knowledge of insurance and billing practices as related to patient care in clinic setting.
